What is Google Adsense? (Part 2)

AdSense is a hybrid of Google`s Webmaster advertising program called AdWords. In a nutshell, Webmaster are paying Google to promote their ads on Google.com. Every time an ad gets clicked, Google deducts a pre-determined amount from their advertising budget.

You can see these AdWords ads by doing almost any search on Google and the ads show up in the far right-hand side of the page. See the screenshot below:

Now, AdSense is a program derived from AdWords that allows publishers (other Web site or blog owners like you and me) to promote these same AdWords on our own sites.

Then Google pays us, the publishers, a certain percentage of what the AdWords customers are paying Google for those ads. In other words, as an AdSense publisher, you are helping Google advertise these AdWords ads, and Google is paying you a share of the revenue they earn every time your visitors click on your ads.

So, let's say you have a Web site on chocolate cake recipes. When you join Adsense, Google will supply you with a few lines of JavaScript code that you paste into your site (It's very easy to do!). And because of their savvy technology, Google can actually read your page title, content, etc. and interpret what each page is about. So, the ads that show up on your site are relevent to the topic on your pages.

The increase the chance that people will click on your ads and of course that just means more earning for you. Google will never disclose how much you will earn per click, but you can earn anywhere between 0.01 and $10.00 per click, and perhaps even more. Keep in mind these numbers are just estimates. Google has never supplied any specific data on how much you can earn. They keep this kind of information very close to the vest.

So, once your account reaches $100.00, Google sends you a check. And you can even have them direct deposit the check right into your bank account.

WordTracker..functions and requirements

..another Tactic to increase your CTR

WordTracker is a grand way to find keywords to target for arbitrage. The idea is simple: if you can find popular keywords that few sites are targeting, you can increase the CTR of the ads you buy and improve the chances that users will click on the ads on your page. It’s those keywords that will give you the best revenues for arbitrage—and the most clicks from search engine listings.

WordTracker actually helps in four different ways. First, you enter a keyword—say, “Soccer”. WordTracker will then give you a list of hundreds of different keywords related to soccer—words like “stadium” and “league” and “soccer player”. Some of those words you’ll probably have thought of, but lots of them you won’t.
The next step is to see how popular these keywords are. WordTracker looks across all of the main search engines and tells you how many people searched for each keyword in the last 60 days. That’s certainly interesting information in itself but there’s not much point in targeting a word that 1,000 people search for every couple of months if a million Web pages are already targeting it.

Your ad would appear on page fifty-something of a search engine listing and get very few clicks. The next stage is where things get really interesting. WordTracker compares the number of searches that people are making for each keyword with the number of sites targeting that keyword. It even awards each keyword a score that indicates the size of the opportunity for new pages that want target that particular keyword. It then becomes easy for you to see which words are likely to give the best search engine listings—and which will get the most clicks for the lowest prices when you pay to advertise.

Make Money Online

Blogging is

· A simple medium on the internet, which can be used to share your thoughts, opinions, expertise, pictures, and videos (almost anything) with everyone around the world.

· Like having your own magazine and anyone can create one. You can create a blog on any topic of your liking. You can create blogs just as a pastime or hobby or even to make an income.

· An effective medium for the celebrities and renowned personalities to interact with their followers. The visitors can drop in their comments and the blog owners can reply to those comments.

· Not only handy for personal usage. They are used by many companies as well to reach out to their employees and clients.

· One of the main compensation of blogs is that they are very easy to create and you need not have any real technical knowledge or website designing skills. No matter whether you are a student, a housewife or a businessman, you can create a blog of your own.

Making an Income

Blogging is not only a way of social networking and reaching out to your followers. There are many blog owners who constantly rake up in 5 digit and even 6 digit income by blogging. All that you need is a computer with internet connection and you are ready to earn.

Some of the Ways to Earn Money from Blogging

1. Selling your own service or product

Let’s say you were an electrician by deal. You could start a blog sharing your suggestion and also allow people to contact you for your services. Or what if you were a retired electrician? You could create a product called something like, “101 best ever electric DIY tips” and sell it through your blog. These are some of the fastest growing products and services that sell on the web:

Products: - Books, Gifts, Gadgets, Software, Collectables, and Advice type information

Services: - Web design, hosting, marketing, and building; financial, legal, writing

2. Google Ad sense

It is one of the most popular ways to earn money on the internet. You host the ads of other web trades on your blog. When any user clicks on the ad, you get a share of the income generated. But here, you have to test where to place the adverts. The best place is normally just under the title of the post and before the blog post text starts. But you have to test it. Change the adverts to a different place on your blog and see what difference it makes to your income. One thing I will add – don’t expect to become rich via Ad Sense. You have to have a huge amount of daily traffic visiting your blog before you start seeing even only $100 a month.

3. Adding affiliate banners and links

Affiliate marketing is basically, where you introduce the buyer to someone else’s service or product, and for the introduction and ultimate sale you receive a commission percentage. Look at almost any blog and you will see banner type adds for products. If you were to click on one of the banners and buy the product, the owner of the blog would receive a commission for that sale. Commissions can be as high as 75%, so if you were to display the right banner ad, you could make a lot of money.

4. Amazon is the largest affiliate company around

You can sell Amazon products on your blog. The niche of your blog will determine whether you can make money via Amazon. Again I’m personally in the wrong niches to make any serious money. You have to sell a lot of books at $10 when you are only getting 5% or 10% to make anything serious. But if you are in any physical good niches like TVs, gadgets etc then you can make a good income by selling Amazon products.

5. Writing product reviews

This is another form of making an income via affiliate marketing. Write a review via a blog post of a product or service you have used and benefited from. I recommend you actually use the product or service and benefit from it before you write your review. That way your review will come across as more personal and believable.

6. Selling links

If you have a high traffic to your blog and have obtained a high page rank (PR), you can earn money by selling links i.e. someone puts their link or banner on your site for a monthly fee. If your blog has a high PR, its space can be sold to other bloggers / web merchants. The money that you earn depends on the PR of your blog. Higher the PR, more money you can get.

Money Matters

Do you think that money is the most important think in your life?

  1. Money can buy anything that you always want and also anything that you really don't want.
  2. Money can buy happiness in your life but money can also bring you a lot of problems to your life.
  3. Money can buy a lot of friends for you, and also enemies.
  4. Money can bring your world to the heaven and also, hell!
So, now, think again about my question above!
